So What Happened?

It's so nice to see that so many of you would do great good if they knew that they could not fail. Me and about 600 other primericans were asked this question through a very inspiring Primerica convention this past weekend. Not only was it a GREAT motivational question for helping others, but it also put some certain aspects of my life in perspective. Now I guess it wouldn't be fair to ask the question and not answer it myself. I guess what I would do is first and foremost is get a bigger house so my family can fit and I can take in my nieces like I did my nephew and get their mother and father some help and a decent home. I would also bring my mother closer to me or vice versa. Then I would become Senior Regional Vice President with my company and help every family in my reach to have a healthier financial life to make way for complete freedom in the future. I would also become the most well known photographer in the Mid-West. Thats what I would do and so much more.

Open my home to teen mothers as a half-way house. Teach them to care for their babies, teach them all of the domestic skills they need (cooking, cleaning, sewing and so on), help them grow as people, help them acquire needed job skills, guide them through seeking and securing employment, saving money, financial planning, apartment hunting etc.. Basically anything I could do to make a difference in the lives of the babies.

Wow! Tough one. Fail can mean so many things...I want to sya I would open the Bar and grill that my hubby and I would like to own, but what would it mean to not fail? Would it mean that the restaurant would be a success, yet we would spend every waking hour there and our kids would suffer? Sounds like failing to me???

I don't know that I would do anything knowing that I could not fail. Each success brings yet another challenge. We must be willing and able to meet each one head on.

Maybe I would just attempt Life! i think in the end none of us fail at that.

I know this was just meant to get us thinking and I mean no disrespect, it just got me thinking in a different direction. Thanks for the question!

Physics problems aside (I'd jump off a cliff and fly if I knew I wouldn't fail at flying)... I'm already doing/attempting everything. Failure just means more practice is necessary.

I periodically ask myself what I would do if I had 500 million dropped in my lap? That sorts out dreams and desires... and then I start working on them. Everything that I would do with more money than god I can do NOW, just on a different timeframe.

Finish my degree. Own and run a bed and breakfast in my local area. Have a home for girls ages 9 to 14 without moms and piggy back on another person's ideas of helping them live in the future and be what they want to be. Provide quilts for kids that need a warm homey touch when they are in hospital away from home. Enjoy the rest of my years with hubby and grandkids and just experience each day as it unfolds.
