You rep might have already told you some of these pointers, I sold AVON before and these helped me:
1. Remeber you can always backorder from books, so if you have any leftover books, change the date on the back and give them out to new potential clients, or you can also pass out books every other campaign, especially if you have a customer who doesn't order very much.
2. September through December are big months for AVON and they have alot of neat holiday products, that is a great time to get people interested in your business.
3. People love to get samples, fold them in each book.
4. Alot of my customers complained about other AVON reps for 'hounding' them when it came time to order. Personally I think they were over reacting. You might want to just tell or ask them if you can call them as a little reminder when it is time to order, the same people that complained about calls also said they wanted something but missed the order deadline. Some people are hard to please.
5. I am sure you have heard this one, stick books in waiting rooms, receptionist desks and anywhere else you can think of. A couple of months ago, when I was at my kids dentist office, there were a few on the receptionist desk, so I asked and took one. But this rep, I called, ordered, but I can't reach her to get my order, guess I need to go back and get another book huh.
6. At halloween, make litte tags with your info and attach it to suckers, free advertisement.
Man, now I want to sell AVON, but for me I like the products too much and don't see enough people, so I end up spending more than I sell, be carefull, don't get caught up in that.
Good luck and sell lots I'll try and look up your website and check it out.
