Seeking Trustworthy Pediatrician in the Wyoming Area

I take my 3 boys to Forest Hills Peds. They are a great group of peds. We see Kathleen Howard, but they are all great. Plus they have a walk in clinic Mon-Fri mornings, so if the kids get sick at night, i can take them to the doctor in the morning, with no appointment. They are also part of the GRAPES which stands for Grand Rapids Area Pediatric Emergancey Services. Which they send you if you call and they are closes, but they think your child should be seen before morning. I really like it. Well let us know what you find. It will be a 10-15 minute drive, but I COMPLETELY trust Kent Pediatrics on West River Dr. They are just down the street from 5/3 Ballpark, right next door to Grand Rapids Popcorn Company. Dr. Nicholas Kokx is actually listed as my pediatrician, but I have seen all of the doctors in this office and love them all. Just a month ago, my 3 month old was vomiting violently. I called the emergency line at 10PM and the nurse IMMEDIATELY called me back and spent the next 20 minutes asking me questions, telling me what to look for, making sure that I knew when to call back if something got worse, etc. She then called the doc starting call at 11PM, gave him all of the info, and then called me back to reassure me. I got a call the following morning from this nurse at 9AM to check on him and be sure that all was okay. The entire staff here is very professional, very kind, and lots of help. When going in for the 'well-child' appointments, I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes after my scheduled time and the few times I've had to take in a sick child, they got me in within a few hours from my phone call. I STRONGLY recommend them... I truly trust them with my children!

I absolutely LOVE my Pediatrician. We go to Cascade pediatrics just off of Cascade and I-96. There are several Dr.s in the group but we see Dr Lisa Brown. She is so awesome. She makes you feel like you are her only patient. She really spends a lot of time getting to know you and your baby. She is also a Mom so she understands what we go through! She is so kind and no question is a stupid question to her. For a first time Mom that was important to me. The office is very clean and the staff are very nice as well. They also have hours on Sat. Which ever Dr you choose I recommend that you go to meet them and interview them before you make a choice and your baby is here. Most Dr.s will sit down to meet you for no charge. Hope this helps!

Hi J., When I was pregnet for my first I searched and searched before I found a doctor. This one was just a short distance from me in Kentwood, then he moved to Grandville, but I followed him because he is the BEST!!!!!!!I can not brag about him enough. Here is the info.
