I've used Snapfish before, and it was very easy and cheap. The results were good too, and I got it very quickly! I'm going to use them again this year to make one for my husband.
Hi!
I am a mom of a 12 month old and I am looking to make some photo calendars for the grandparents for Christmas. Can anyone recommend a company or website that is easy and cost effective? :) Thanks!

I made a couple this year through samsclub.com and was pleased with them. You're able to do a cover photo, a photo per month, and put captions on each. I think with shipping it cost me about $20-21/per calendar.
Kodak has a really good and easy website for calendars and other options that are great for grandparents. I used them last year and probably again this year for grandparent presents and they loved them!

I saw someone recommend clarkcolor.com. I just ordered 6 calenders of my little one. They are fabulous. They are having a sale right now so it's a good time. The shipping time is great I had them with in a week of ordering them. You can even put little pictures into the actual calender. ex. I put a picture of my son in is halloween costume on 31st of october. They are really very cute and their web site is so easy to use. Good Luck!
We used Ofoto last year and everyone loved them. We will be doing calendars through them again. They cost about 19.99 + the cost of shipping per calendar.
Hope that helps.
We do this yearly using shutterfly.com
I made my photo calendar with ofoto.com. Ijust got them in the mail and I'm SO impressed! I,too, and giving them as a xmas present to family. :)
I use winkflash.com, snapfish.com, and shutterfly.com for photo gifts. I haven't made a calendar yet, but have purchased mugs, books, cutting boards (awesome for the grandparents!), pencil holders, etc from these sites and have been very happy with them!
I just got a flyer in the mail from www.snapfish.com that they were having a sale... I've used them for lots of stuff before and it was always reduced rate shipping and sales prices...
I noticed that Wal-Mart does photo calendars you might check there.
If you use one of your own pictures, snapfish.com has a lot of options. I also saw that Staples is doing those at a really low cost (like $9 or something) the other day. I don't know if it was a special, or if it's something for the holidays, but they looked really good.
have you checked out shutterfly.com?
FedEx Kinkos is not to expensive, I think I paid $10 per calendar plus a one time set up fee and I did a big collage of 10-12 pitures per month. They did everything for me, I just did the collage, gave it to them and they even put birthdays on it and everything
Hi B.!
I agree with Paula. I did a calendar last year from Photoworks.com. They are wonderful. You can add the pictures you want and then add birthdays or anniversaries. I am already uploading photos for our next calendar!
Good Luck!

Hey B.,
I go to Kinkos. I have been for about 4 yrs now. They are fast and the photos always turn out nice too. They are pretty no frills and not too expensive.

We use Shutterfly.com for all of our photo needs. We haven't had any problems and have been very pleased.
We used snapfish once and got over 50 pictures back of very poor quality.
You've gotten lots of response with almost all the photo sites I'ved used, but I have to add one more: Photoworks. I used them this year for the first time to make a calendar for my husband and I thought they were very easy to use and they had options that the others did not. The one thing that some of their calendars had that I wanted for his calendar was the ability to put more than one photo per month. I found it hard to pare down my list of favorite photos to just 12, so this was great for me.
Happy hunting!

I like snapfish because it is more personal, you can put in special dates, pictures, etc.. I made one for fathers day and loved it.
We used WalMart last year and the calendars were precious!
I have gotten calenders from Shutterfly and loved them! They now have options to put in all your special dates as well. Plus, the more you buy the more you save :)
snapfish.com or shutterfly.com are both easy and pretty inexpensive.
You could try clarkcolor.com or Shutterfly.com...I think that they both are having a sale on all of their photo gifts.
Hi B.,
I have used walmart.com and snapfish.com. Both are easy to use.
A little about me:
I am a stay-at-home mom of a 7 month old baby boy.
I just made some at winkflash.com and it was very easy. They are only 13.99
You have lots of responses, but no one has mentioned my favorite place, www.walgreens.com I upload all of my digital photos here into photo albums and share them with long-distance relatives all of the time. It is an easy, affordable way to save, share, and print photos, as well as a great way to have photo gifts such as calendars made. This year they have changed the way they do calendars to include backgrounds and more than one picture on the month page. I hope this helps!

Snapfish is great! If you use the coupon code GIFTS2006 and order by Dec 9th, they are 20% off, so that means before shipping it costs about $15.00
Hi B.~
I am not sure about a calendar for the year, but I just completed a small (8x8) digital scrapbook for the year 2006 for our parents (both sides) of our boys. It is 20 pages and cost $45. It has stitch binding and is absolutely awesome. Even my husband can't wait to give it as a gift!
We could choose the album size, color, design and change the templates to fit however many photos we want (1 photo to a collage of 5-7 & more). If created by December 4th, Creative Memories is promising delivery before Christmas.
Questions, I'd be happy to walk you thru it or send information (step-by-step) guide. Our parents loved an album we gave them this summer of a trip to Disney and I know this one will be loved more as they see the boys grow in the course of the year.
Good luck,

We used Costco last year and it turned out great. I think they do online ordering and delivery and if that's the case, you don't have to be a member I think. Good luck!
Shutterfly.com is a great site for this; my sister made me an 18-month calendar for Christmas last year (I believe you can do 12-month or 18-month) and it turned out beautifully!!!
Good luck!
