I'm new in the area and don't know anyone with kids yet, I'd love to hear from some parents about pediatricians and why they love them. Having two active boys I really need to have a trusted doctor at our reach. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Just a short drive down the 163 south will take you to Scripps Mercy Medical Group. Dr. Nicole Gorton, Dr. Cheryl Jennet, or Dr. Denise Brownlee, wonderful people and incredible pediatricians.
Hi K. and welcome to San Diego! My doctor is with Scripps which isn't far. Her name is Dr. Annie Kupelian and she's very gentle, takes the time with my boys and she listens to my questions and concerns. If I've ever needed a referral, she doesn't question my judgment. All the best K.!

Dr. Audikovy (don't know how to spell it) with Sharp Rees Stealy is great! My mom takes my younger brother there and I have always gone to Sharp doctors and LOVE THEM!
I think if you call 1800 Sharps or just go on line to look up their number and you can call and get recommendations.

Dr. George Madany is a wonderful, warm, intellegent Pediatrician. I have a 4.5 girl, and a 2 yr old boy. They love him he is a great listener and very gentle. My sister also has been going to him with her 2 young girls (soon to be 3!) Dr. Madany has 2 active boys that are in elementary school and 1 young daughter.
We visit him at the children's way office by the hospital. but we have been to their 9999 mira mesa blvd.office ###-###-####.
Try him and the office out (children's primary care medical group) . you will be glad you did.

My 11 month old son was very sick for over a month. We were in and out of her office several times each time being told he was fine, just ignore the cough. Well his condition continued to get worse. Runny nose, fever, pulling (working to breath), losing weight, coughing nonstop (sounded like a seal), lethargic, and very miserable. He was prescribed two medications that come to find out were not what he needed. Needless to say at the last visit, after 2 breathing treatments, he had to be rushed to the hospital (30 minutes away because others were full???). My baby spent 2 1/2 days in the hospital on oxygen, he tested positive for bronchiolitis with RSV, a simple test that took 15 minutes. She never called to check on him once, even after we were released. In addition, it takes at least +4 hours to get a call back after leaving a message at the office. The doctors at the hospital said had it been caught sooner he would not have been this bad. We found another dr. Good luck!
I love Dr Narayan at Sharp Rees-Stealy ###-###-####. All the docs there are good but I really like her a lot!
