Blue Raven in San Marcos is wonderful. I went there while I was pregnant up until 2 weeks of my due date. The instructor, Liza is great! I highly recommend it! Good luck and have fun!
I am wondering if there are any exercise classes in north county geared toward pregnant women? I am interested in Yoga, Pilates and Swimming.

When I was pregnant with my first child 3 1/2 years ago, there was a yoga studio in Vista that did prenatal yoga. I don't remember the name of the studio, but if you're interested, I will find out somehow. Our instructor was Liza Janda, she is also a Bradley instructor in Carlsbad (I highly recommend the Bradley method if you are looking for a childbirth class). You can get contact information for her on the Bradley Birth website.
Blue Raven Yoga in San Marcos is awesome! I highly recommend it. I was very miserable being pregnant with many health complications. Doing yoga made me feel so much better. And the instructors are wonderful. Good luck!
The YMCA has a wonderful pre-natal yoga class on Thursdays at 11am. You can even bring your newborn to the class after baby is born.
Soul of Yoga in Encinitas also has great classes geared toward the pre-natal set.
Hope this helps!
Dear A.,
A local yoga studio is offering pre-natal yoga classes 3x/week. Here is their phone number:

There is a great class called Fit to Deliver at Women's Elite Fitness in Carlsbad! It is wonderful...you could also join Stroller Strides as their instructors are nationally certified in pre and post natal fitness! Great women and a phenomenal workout : )

You've probably had your baby by now, but there is an excellent class at Tri-City Wellness Center in Carlsbad called Fit4Baby. It is a cardio/circuit class designed especially for pregnant women. Tues/Thurs @ 7pm & Sat. 11:30 am. Program description is found at www.strollerstrides.com.
Congratualstions! Have you checked with the Parks and Rec dept? I know here in Escondido they have some exercise or water aerobics through our parks and rec dept. Good luck and happy pushing!
