Seeking Playgroup with 3-4 Yr. Olds

A. I am 45 years old and have a soon to be 4 year old and I am a single Mom as well. I can suggest taking her to dance class you meet really nice people and your daughter get the interaction she needs and it also helps with taking turns and listening skills. I take my daughter to the YMCA in Robinson and the classes are reasonable they do dance with tumbling and its $50.00 for 7 weeks one class a week on Saturdays! I have made friends that way and my daughter gets friends to come to her birthday party!

I belong to a great group called Mothers and More that offers play groups, coffee breaks, book clubs, Mom’s night out and other fun thing with and without kids. Activities are scheduled some in the day and some in the evening and occasionally on weekends so that there is something for everyone’s schedule.

Where do you live? My daughter will be 3 in April, but is advanced for her age. We like to go to E2 in Greentree, and are always up for a playdate.

Depending on where you live around Pittsburgh - Ross Township hosts a kids playdate at the community center for a nominal fee. If you call them (number on their website http://www.ross.pa.us/administration/communectr.htm), they can give you more details about the day, time, and cost.
