I would like to try and find a playgroup with kids 1-7 years old in the Maplewood/Richmond Heights area. Looking at about 1-2 evenings a week. I have a 2 yo and 5 yo that have no one on our block to play with. All the kids on our block are older.
I am a full time mom who is also looking for an evening playgroup. I have a 3 yr old and an 8 month old - both boys. We live in Florissant. We have a swing set and tons of toys in our backyard so our house would be great, I would also be able to meet at a nearby park.
anyone interested??

Hi, I have a 2 year old son and would love to find someother kids for him to play with. I am 34 weeks pregnant and he has really started acting out and throwing tantrums and I think meeting up with and playing with other kids would help him alot. I also work full time and live in Maplewood.

We just started a new parents' group called St Louis Parents' Community (StLPC) that features weekly playgroups at local area parks. We meet all over the St Louis and St Charles areas.
Check us out at www.MindBodyBabyStL.com. Click on St Louis Parents Community at the bottom of the home page. In order to view the playgroup dates and locations, you will need to become a member first.
Our playgroup this week is Thursday, May 8th at 3:30pm at Demun Park in Clayton. Hope to see you there!

Hi, J....you might look into something like Kindermusik. You can find a teacher in your area at www.kindermusik.com These music and movement classes are for newborns to 7 yr-olds (and caregivers) and are split up into different age ranges or there is a class where you can bring one or more children of different ages. Music and movement activities stimulate development in every area of the brain: language, cognitive, emotional, physical, social. It is really a wonderful program. There are also home materials that include CDs, activity books, literature books, instruments...so you can continue the fun at home! The classes are once a week for 30-45 minutes, depending on the class, and are 15 lessons in the Fall and Spring. Summer is also 30-45 minutes, depending on the class, and is usually 5 lessons, which are held once a week or everyday or every other day, etc. Just depends on the educator's schedule. ~ L.
