I am seeking a playgroup for my 17 month old son. I am a school teacher and have a hard time getting together during the school year. I would love for him to meet other kids in our area and maybe form some lasting friendships. He is very outgoing and it breaks my heart to see him doing the same thing everyday with just me and his Papa. Anyone open to meeting weekends or weekdays after 3? Schools close the 25th so after that we would be able to meet anytime!
You can try meetup.com I joined the flowery branch group. They don't do a lot at night and on weekends but they do have a pretty full calendar. You can also make suggestions on the message board and people will respond to you through there.

check out momsclub.org ... there are a couple of buford chapters. I don't know how much they meet on the weekends/afternoons, but there should be lots to do over the summer. good luck!
