We are a new military family that just moved to Lenexa,KS. I have met many wonderful people but none with children my daughters age. I am looking for 2 SAHM's with a child or children about 2 yrs old. We are very strapped for cash so I have been unable to join moms groups in the area due to maintenance fees. Want to get together during the weekday and maybe have adult conversations while my child learns some social skills and get to play with people her own age. Can't wait to meet other SAHM's in my area!!
Have you checked out meetup.com? There are several moms groups with very low maintenance fees. I am a member of the Young and Fun Stay at Home Moms Group and we look for mostly free activities around town.
Hi I stay at home but have no car.I do enjoy the park right next to the Johnson county library at 87th and Farley.Not far from Lenexa.I use to be right down the street in Lenexa.I have a 2 yr old girl who's b-day is next April and a 9 month old girl and my 5 yr old(also girl) in kindergarten.So to have real time with my 2 yr old we try to go to the park or library to pass time while sis is in school form 12:30 to 3:pm.So my e-mail is ____@____.com if your able to get to that park I'm sure Megan would love to play with someone her age also:)
If you are interested in a MOMS Club our only fee $25 for the first year and $20 each year after! We have many activities in the surrounding area with optional playgroups that are free! I'm a SAHM too, I have a 20 month old daughter and we live in Prairie Village. I belong to a mom's group called Kansas City Mommies, we meet for playdates and mom's nights out and recently added a book club.
