I am looking for a place to hold a birthday party for a one year old for about 50 people.
My place is too small. Reasonably priced, within a 5 mile radius of Western/Peterson area in Chicago. We will have food, just looking for a hall.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your suggestions, I was able to rent a room at a park in Evanston.

You can try the VFW. I know they rent out their halls. They provide tables, chairs and their kitchen.

You can check a local park or if you belong to a church, you can sometimes use/rent a room there.
Good luck!

Try Warren Park on Western and Pratt. Often times the park district has areas you can use in the field house. I don't know if there's a VFW hall by you, but it's another option. Good luck!

K.,

Some park districts let you rent a room from their buildings. I live in Arlington Heights and they charge approx. $45. per hour, and you can use their gym. Some churches will let you use a room for a party if you make a donation. (Often though, you have to be a member or know a member.) Just a couple of ideas!

Try your local park district. Also, local nursery schools or churches might have kid-friendly rooms that are available for not much money. Congratulations on that birth day!
