Pediatric Health Associates. The have offices both in Naperville and Plainfield.
Hello MOM's. I am new to the Plainfield area and am in need of finding a new pediatrician I can transfer my child to. I used to live in Chicago and was not too happy with the doctor there and now I would prefer to find a good doctor near our home. I would appreciate if any moms could give me any advise or recommendations on a pediatrician they just love. I currently need a doctors office that accepts the Illinois Medical Card. Thanks for your help

Sandra,
I also live in the Plainfield area. I have been taking my kids to General Pediatrics of Dupage Medical Group. They are wonderful and caring. THey have a new office in Plainfield on Naper/Plainfield Rd by the railroad tracks. You can get same day sick appointmets. I am pretty sure they take the insurance you are talking about. I think I heard them tell someone they took it. I used to travel 45min to an hour to go to them because they are that worth it. Was so excited to have them come to Plainfield. Their number is ###-###-####. I am fond of all of the docs there. They have quite a few. Best of luck!
Take Care,
M.
I don't know about the Medical Card (I would assume so), but try Dr. Joseph Russell at DuPage Medical Center on Plainfield Naperville Road (just off of 59). We love him!
Dr. Thomas Moore in Shorewood, 700 W. Jefferson St., ####-###-####. Good Luck!!
Suburban health on route 59 and 135th st. Dr. Kher is a really good dr. Number is 815-609-docs. They do take the medical card
I am not sure what types of insurance the ped. I go to takes, but I know it is a huge selection as I have recommended so many people who have never had a problem. Anyway, I love my pediatrician. His name is Dr. Michael Fitzgerald of the Dupage Medical group located right next to Edward Hospital in Naperville(free vallet parking right out front of the building). He is sooooo fantastic and compassionate. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck!
