I just moved to Manhattan Beach and was wondering if anyone has a great recommendation for a pediatrician in the area. I have one in Santa Monica but the travel is tiring!
We take our 17 month old son to Dr. Joanna Wong of Manhattan Beach Kids' Docs ###-###-####. We just went this morning and she is really great. I chose her (before baby was born) after receiving several recommendations.

I love Dr. demonteverde ###-###-####. her office is on sepulveda... she was great in the hospital, and was there when I needed her immediately when my baby was 5 months old and rolled off the bed. ( I was worried, and she saw her as soon as I called. Baby was fine) I also had questions with my baby's first cold, and the doctor gave me advise over the phone, rather then seeing me... I think most DRS would want the money, thus, want u to come in. Anyway, her office is not fancy...at all..but she is very nice.

I heard that she isn't accepting any new patients but I may be wrong. The other doctor, Dr. Bayan, is also good and very thorough. Good luck.
We use UCLA Manhattan Beach (across Manhattan Village near Rosecran). They have two Pediatricians there: Dr. Ghafouri and Dr. Vinzon. Both are really nice. Dr. Vinzon has more experience but she may not take new patients any more... but you can try.
We see Vivian Liu in Manhattan Village. She is wonderful, and so smart!
