Haven't heard anyone mention way to play cafe in chandler. If you haven't been there it would be great for a 2 year old. Also makutu's island in phoenix(ray&i10). Had my sons #3 b-day there, it was wonderful & includes everything for the price. I also recommend tumble weed park in chandler. We had my sons 1st birthday there and did a little farm theme. They have a huge playground with a cover over it, it is great! Best of luck.

Hi J.,

My name is D. Sakurai and I own Jumping Party. It is an indoor inflatable fun center with obstacle courses, slides, bounce houses and a 48' long choo choo train that the kids can play inside of.
I am located on Main Street, just east of Higley Road at the next light which is 56th Street.
I live just up the street from you at Higley and Elliot!
Why don't you bring in your son and check out my place and I'll let him play for free!!
I always have open jump on Fridays from 9:00am to 9:00pm and on Saturdays I work it around my parties.
My party packages start at $89.00
You can check out my ____@____.com, it is my franchises website. On the party packages it lists 16 kids for the original party, but I allow 24 kids. Also I am running some Grand Opening Specials;
for weekday parties it is $155.00 for 24 kids, on Sunday it is $195.00 for 24 kids, and I offer overnight sleepover birthday parties for $300.00.

Hope to see you!!

We had the same issue last year with our kids birthdays, we had one at Jeepers http://www.jeepersaz.com/, they have a lot of stuff for little kids, rides, games. Bounce U also does great parties and they're a blast although little kids are often afraid of the inflatable jumpers and slides. We attended a party at Tempe Town Lake's splash park which was a lot of fun and it should be warm by then too.

One of the best place for young children and adults alike is the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale. It has a miniature train to ride and other trains to see as well. It is perfect for a two year old. The web address is http://www.therailroadpark.com/index1.html. We did a party there when my son was 5. He LOVED it!

Perfect time of year for outdoor parties (my kids are June and August, so I'll NEVER get to have outdoor birthdays!). I think Amazing Jakes will be WAY overstimulating for a 2 year old, so I wouldn't recommend that for this age, but definitely later. I would say Freestone Park off of Lindsay and Elliot (I'm pretty sure that's where it is). They have a train and a carousel and other little rides and a couple playgrounds. Desert Breeze Park in Chandler (off of Chandler Blvd and McClintock) is also great. They have the train and rides, as well as a little water area and a huge playground. If you're looking for indoors, Gymboree Play and Music is great! We had my oldest's 1st birthday there. You get the whole place to yourself, and they have group activities and music, free play time and cake time. Hope you can plan a great party for him! =)

We had my son's 3rd b day party at peter piper pizza on Ellsworth and Baseline. Its not as busy as chuck e cheese and the food is cheaper and just as good. I am a simplifier lately and that was the easiest solution. We actually had it on a Wednesday after all of the adults were off of work and we were like the only people in the place. The kids had so much fun just running wild. It was awesome. No clean up and no worrying about the elements. They have a package deal that's called the "team package" I think. That's 4 large pizzas and 20 drinks for $40. Good luck

Amazing Jakes on Baseline and Gilbert...it is an indoor game place with a buffet. Lots of games and good choices. (Kind of like Chuck E Cheeses but much bigger). I don't know of anything else. Good luck!

Hi J.!
We are moving to Higley and Ray also. Are you moving to Lyons Gate? We are suppossed to close mid March according to our homebuilder. Maybe we'll be neighbors.

As far as parties go, did you try Freestone Park? It is wonderful. There is also Bounce U in Gilbert but not fun for adults just kids. We just attended a three year old party at Tumbleweed park in Chandler. That was nice. Good Luck!

I live at Higley and Ray as well, Lyon's Gate! My daughter is two and half. We should get together after you get settled!

I would suggest possibly just renting a jump house We did that for Madison's second birthday (but in our backyard) and it was a hit. Or check with the HOA and see if you can do it on the green belt near the park, and just rent a generator with the jumphouse. Or, even look into Freestone park and see if you can do it there. Just get Pizza from Little Ceaser's ($5 a pizza). I know a place you can rent the jumper for about $75 for 24 hours. You have to pick it up and drop it off but it was soooooo easy. It was great fun for the adults and the kids.

And congratulations on your second one too....I have two girls, you can have all my baby girl dust!

Hi J.,
I live at Higley/Ray in Agritopia. And our children are 6 days apart 3/31. I have been tossing around ideas for my daughters b-d as well. I was considering Chuck E Cheese. They are located on Southern/Power in Mesa. Which is not too far at all. As well as Bounce U which is right down the street at Ray/Gilbert. I did the whole b-d package for my son when he turned 5. But for a toddler b-d I would probably just do open bounce with a few guests and cake at the playground or home. I am still up in the air. Let me know when you get settled maybe we can plan a play date.

I just went to a party at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. It's at McQueen and Germann. It's got a HUGE play area called Playtopia. It's way fun for kids and it's nice for the adults. They also have a bbq grill at each of the cabanas and if you want to do a bounce house, there is plenty of room to set it up there. Also, if you decide to do Peter Piper Pizza, there is one located at Gilbert & Williamsfield.
