I live in Griffin Parc and Market Street is opening at the corner of Eldorado and the Tollway. Plus, the Farmers Market is open every weekend (I think) at the Frisco Square. J.
I am trying to find an organic produce co-op in the West Frisco area. I try to buy only organic whenever possible, but its difficult to find a good selection at one store. I know that Whole Foods has a large selection, but they can get pricey and it is quite a drive from my house. We live in Eldorado Fairways off of Eldorado Parkway. Also, any suggestions on where to buy the best tasting organic meat and who has the largest selection?

This may be further than you want to drive, but this one is in Fairview, right near the borders with McKinney and Allen:

They have one co-op for meat and eggs, another for produce. We've been doing the produce for about a year, and it's great! We're not affiliated with the school, btw, so we pay the non-member price, but I think it's still worth it!
Hi,
Here is the website to an organic co-op. They have drop offs all over the metroplex. http://www.yourhealthsource.org
I used to be in it and found the quality to be good. I plan to join again in the future.

How about Sprouts in Frisco? Preston and Lebanon
I just checked out Sprouts yesteday in Frisco. We had some of their meat yesterday and it was amazing! We should be getting a Sprouts in McKinney next January - the sign is up at Virginia and Hardin.
Have you tried the new Sprouts store at Preston & Lebannon? They don't have as large a selection as Whole Foods, but their prices are more reasonable.

Check out Greenling DFW. They offer free delivery to your door. Plus there are no contracts or membership fees.. Was a member of Your Health Source "Co-op" but switched to Greenling and have been much happier with the produce. Greenling also offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You could also check out Urban Acres Market. I think the Bountiful Baskets Food Co-ops plan looks like a legit way to start your own co-op.
Try this:

Hi, well we are few and far between aren't we? I feel your pain as well. Sprouts, Family Health Market and Kroger are the stores I have to visit on a regular basis. For organic meats Kroger and Sprouts have them. For organic fruits and vegetables- Kroger has the largest selection. Just know that the majority of fruits and vegetables that Sprouts has, is NOT organic. Hope that helps! We really DO need a Whole Foods here, don't we?
Awesome question!!!!!!!!
I wanted to look into local co-ops, but didnt know where to start.
Thanks, ladies!
