I am seeking a GOOD, Caring OB/Gyn in the Mandarin or near by area. I like my doctor, but he is downtown & hard to get an appointment with. Also, a pediatic dentist.

I just took my 3-year-old to Dr. Switkes, dentist, near San Jose and Old St. Aug. Rd. Google his name to read up about his office.
My son had a pleasant experience there for his first visit, only cried for the first 30 seconds and then was very happy.
I go to DR. Van Scriver off of Belfort Rd. and Southpoint Parkway. Very caring doctor. She was the only doctor who supported my VBAC after a c-section. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Women's Physicians off of Belfort near JTB. My doctor is Dr. Rodriguez and there are 3 other doctors who are wonderful (Dr. Baird is awesome too). She has been both my GYN for 6 years and delivered my daughter. I am currently pregnant and using them as well.
The whole office staff and nurses are great people. They use St.Lukes as their hospital (the Birthing section is great) and they now also deliver at the new Baptist off 295.
I use Dr. Patrick Connor with North Florida OBGYN. They have offices in Mandarin, off of San Jose, at Baptist South, and near Baymeadows and 9A. There are a group of doctors, so I would suggest using Dr. Connor, or their newest doctor, Dr. VanBenekom (he is awesome). They are both very nice and listen to your concerns.
Can't help you with the pediatric dentist, I'm currently looking for one as well. There are some recommendations on this website, so you might want to check those out.

Try Sekine, Rasner & Brock on San Jose...a little south towards Julington Creek. They have several offices around town, but that one should be convenient for you. I was a patient of Dr. Sekine's (male) for many years until Dr. Brock (female) came on board - I LOVE HER!!
