Hello- I am seeking a few new ideas for some meal ideas. I feel like my kids are eating the same stuff- especially at lunch. Breakfast is no problem, but lunch and dinner are getting boring. What do you make for your kids at lunch and dinner.?

I second going to online web sites for recipes. I love going to Food Network's site and pulling recipes from Good Eating and Rachael Ray which tend to be very easy to prepare and family friendly. Another site I have been told about is www.health.discovery.com/centers/infant-toddler/recipes/d... They have some pretty good sounding ideas and I plan to try some myself.

Check out www.mealsmatter.org. They have recipes, meal planning. grocery list help and nutrition info. It's free. The recipes are shared by other members and very kid friendly.

One healthy thing that I make for my 3 year old is nutritious and easy is homemade sweet potato fries. My pediatrician actually told me about it. You just peel and slice a sweet potato and spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. Put the sliced sweet potato on the sheet(I sprinkle it with oil, or spray it with the olive oil spray) and sprinkle salt or season salt. Bake at 350 and just keep an eye on it. You should turn them once. I even made them on the grill last night in foil with olive oil. He loves them!
I also buy the McCain's sweet potato fries and he actually prefers them frozen. He can't get enough of them.
