My family and I just moved to Independence, MO and I am trying desperately to find a new salon/stylist. I like fun, funky styles/colors and I like to change often. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
There is a place called Plain Jane's off of North Oak Trfwy in Gladstone with a stylist named Samantha Wade. She is awesome. She can do wonders to your hair and if you like funky, she's your gal too. Hello L. B, I know exactly what you are going through. My family just relocated to the area in July 08! I wound up trying the Salon at the JC Penney at Bolger Square on 39th St in Independence because they had a coupon in the Sunday ads one week. I got my hair cut and colored by Jen Bunker. She did a great job and was very receptive to my choices. We changed me up from a reddish brown with blonde highlights to brunette with chunky caramel colored highlights. Plus you can sign up to get coupons for discounts and earn discounts on products and services with purchases. Good Luck and Have fun!!
Bolero is really nice. It's large with a beautiful spa area. The main part is great, too. I'd really recommend Megan!

There is a salon in Blue Springs off of 7 Hwy ~ Christine's. My friend, Erika Wyatt, is a stylist there and is fantastic. Not that far of a drive from Independence and well worth it.
