I am interested in starting a moms group in Riverdale. I am new to the area and would love to meet other moms. I am a first time mom to a beautiful 2 month old boy, Alex. Looking for some ladies to chat with, share stories, and get our babies together with the possibility of some "mom's only" nights out for dinner or a book club. Let me know if you are interested!

I'm not in Riverdale, but am close in the Mosholu Parkway section (which runs into the Henry Hudson Pkwy).... am also a first-time mom and am balancing school (completing a PhD dissertation) and a full-time job which I am returning to next month... my husband gets to stay home and be house-husband (maybe he should be in the group instead- haha). Let me know if anything is going on.

I live near Riverdale (Marble Hill/Kingsbridge) and would like to meet other mothers as well, particularly those who are balancing not only marital relationships and parenting, but who may also be dealing with challenges of career, education, "singlehood" (divorce, etc.).
My 5 year old daughter, JILLIAN, will be tickled pink to know that someone else on the planet shares her name!

Hi G., I also recently moved to Riverdale along with my husband, our 5 year old son and a brand new 6 months old baby boy. We moved from Washington Heights and while we like this area very much, we also find it a little challenging to adjust to this very "quiet" neigbourhood.
