My name is S. and I am part of an amazing moms group in Hermosa Beach. You can check out international moms club, hermosa beach chapter, or email me at ____@____.com and I'll forward the info to you. We have daily playdates/feild trips, holiday parties, and a lot of peer support. I just had my second son 2 weeks ago and I'm getting meals from other moms during this tough transition time. I also play volleyball with a few moms a couple days a week and go to the South Bay adult school parenting classes. We discuss interesting topics and it's a great place for the kids to run around!

hi. I live in Palos verdes. A group of Mamasource moms got together and formed a family social group. We have 4 families in it and we get together 1 time a month. Last month everyone came to my house this month we are going to someone else's house. Would you and your family like to meet us? We are getting together again on the 17th of february. We are just a nice group of families who find it hard to connect with other families due to busy schedules. We all find it important to connect with other adults and to have our children connect with other kids. It is really fun we just laugh for like 5 hours straight. friendships are forming and we go out with other couples sometimes in between our monthly get togethers. the kids range in age right now from 21 months to 15 years old. We have many different cultures form Caucasion to african American to indian to Mexican, Christian, Jewish, etc. It is really fun I hope you will want to join us. it is hard to meet new friends in LA.

That's the best thing I did when I had my twins, it's such a great way to get support from people that can relate. There are playgroups with other moms that have multiples in your same age group.

there is a twins club and a momns club in the area. look up these links to find the one nearest you. i live in torrance and also have twins--boys who are 3. i opted not to join the clubs but you may find them useful. hope this helps. T.

I live in Rancho Palos Verdes.
There are a few mom's groups in the area. I belong to a MOPS group that meets at King Harbor Church in Torrance every other Thursday. There is a meeting there this Thursday.

Have you heard of Beach Cities Parents of Multiples yet? If not, you can go to http://www.twinsclub.org. This is our home website and you can check us out there. I am the treasurer of the club and have been a member since my twins were born in July 2004. It's a great resource, and there are over 300 families in the club. We have playgrounps, mom "support" through asking any questions, and tons of events. Welcome to Hermosa Beach!
