H.P.
Hi, K.. My girls are older, 6 and 7 now, (although I often think of having another child-- may have seen my posting about it :(-- but I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. We moved here in 2003 and didn't know anyone. Because I was a stay-at-home mome (I teach part-time but still have no contact with "adults"), and we don't go to church or anything like that, it was very hard for me to meet people, and while I now have lots of acquaintances (esp. since my girls are in school), I still have very few "friends". As you can see, it is now 5 years later! I wish I had moved into a neighborhood that had playgroups and such and was more active socially. Cabin fever sucks, and only we women know how lonely being a SAHM can be! I also wish i'd have had an outlet like this back then. Take care!
