Hi, I have 8 month old, identical boy twins, and am looking for other moms to start a play group in north county of San Diego. It would be nice to meet some moms who have babies around the same age.

You've already gotten some great leads here, but I wanted to let you know about another local organization that has a HUGE playgroup database; the groups are based on where you live, age of your child(ren), and special interests (such as multiples). Join meetup.com, search your zip code, and looking the kind of group you are seeking. I have basiclly twins and I am in oceanside little explorers too and a few moms in there have kids a few months apart so its like raising twins. So they are so helpful with me, I love the group.
I am also in another group more San Marcos, Escondido and near by Carlsbad and caramel valley it's for younger moms in their 20's and early 30's who still feel young. :) It's 20 something moms.
I have been in many groups and these are my favorite and Carlsbad moms and tots is the best one in your area I do believe, I was in there for awhile but couldn't attend events so I left. Just with my two kids and theirs schedules it was hard in that group to attend, but I have that issue with some groups so I have left because I feel like I shouldn't be in a group if I cant attend their events.
Northern San Diego County Playgroup, is another good one they meet all over the area and have MNO and a lot are Christians who are also in another group called Moms*4*Christ. I hope this helps.
*Just join a few like I did and then slowly delete ones you don't feel are best suited for you and your family.

Hi S.! Congrats on the twins :-) I have a son 21month and a newborn 1.5 month. I'm in Carlsbad and I'd love to set up a playdate. But I'm not sure how comfy u feel about age difference. We can always get 2gether and have some mommy time. I'm a stay home mom & I used to work in the financial/bank industry. It took me a while to get used to staying home. email me ____@____.com and we can set something up. Another good source I found was www.meetup.com (search for MOMS in your area) and parentconnection.
Are you a member of NCMOMS (North County Moms of Multiples)? There are often play groups, outtings, meetings, mom's night out, etc. Check into it if you're not already a member.

I joined after I had my twins (boy/girl 11 month old) and it's been a great place for socializing and receiving/sharing information. I am now expecting another baby in June (CRAZY) and haven't been able to do many of the outings, but hope to in a few months.
