I need some gal pals! I am running out of things and people to do things with! I don't know Omaha very well and I would love some ideas for activities!

I'm a mother of a just-turned-one-year old and I feel your pain! A lot of my friends are still in that going out every night to the bar stage, and I feel bad when my fiance thinks he has to stay home with me everynight because I have nothing to do, because I usually want to include my son. I heard that when you have a baby you meet new couples with kids and have play "dates" but I haven't had many play dates with my son, and I really want him to learn to interact well with others- plus for my sanity's sake it would be great to have more mom's to chat with. Unfortunately I don't know any groups in town... so if you hear of something, let me know too! Worse comes to worse, we could start our own play group! I know its getting chilly but they just put in a new playground at a park close by me that is great for a wide range of kids.
