Try looking up on the internet MOMSClub or MOPS. I joined Moms club when my son was a lot younger, great group!
I am going to become a SAHM in the next few weeks and am eagerly looking to fill our days with fun stuff to do together. Anyone know of a local mom's group in the Broomfield/Westminster area that I could join? I am a resident of Broomfield, so would prefer that area but open to any suggestions. Also, do you have any ideas for free (or low cost) activities to do with my 15 month old daugther to keep it interesting? Thanks!

I don't know of any groups but the Paul Derda rec. center has an awesome indoor play area that is free to residents. My kids love it. It's better for toddlers during the week when it's not so crowded!
Hi J.,
I would suggest going to momsclub.com. I know they have a group in Broomfield that you could join. I just became a member of the one in Westminster. They do lots of fun activites throughout the month. They even have a moms night out once a month that is just for moms, no kids allowed (unless nursing, of course) which can be a nice break. It is also only about $20 a year to join.
The libraries also have a great toddler programs that you could try. Also, the Westminster Mall has a foam play room for kids that is free. Kids enjoy it and your daughter is just the right age for it. The Flatiron Mall also has a big sand area for kids to play at. It is an ice rink in the winter and a sand box in the summer. Parks are of course always fun! I just went today with my two year old son and met a friend and her daughter there. I actually met her on this site, so I have really enjoyed this as a resource. I just moved here from California at the end of November, so I am still trying to find my way around and meet new people. If you ever want to get together and have a playdate, let me know. Hope this helps! It is truly a blessing to be able to stay home with your little one!
