I am going to be giving birth in about 3 and a half months and i need to find an affordable place to take my newborn to because of the waiting list that they have at the base daycare. Any information would be appreciated

Have you tried Plantation Christian Academy right next to the base...next to Wendy's..My daughter goes there and the teachers are great. The price isn't bad..I think $125 weekly and they provide food. Good Luck!

I had my daughter at Bright Start day care on Wells Rd,(not as a newborn but as a 2 year old) it is right down the rd from NAS JAX off Hwy 17. I think the people there are very nice and I never had any problems. My daughter never complains about going there, she looks forward to going. The # is ###-###-####.
I thought their rates were very good compared to others.

I was wondering if you ever found any moms or daycare on the base? I've been looking for other moms on base to have play dates with or someone for drop in care, so that my kids can have other kids to socialize with.
