Hi, I currently stay at home with my 11 month old daughter and she is VERY social but unfortunately I have not been able to find a good group for her to meet some other babies/young children. I have been searching on yahoo moms clubs but I have not had any success!! I would really just love to find someone or a group who lives in the area and would like to meet weekly so my daughter can get some interaction with other children her age. Thanks.

There are a lot of great mom groups on Meetup.com. I joined a working mom group called the Virginia Beach Working Moms' Infant/Toddler Playgroup. We meet in the evenings and on weekends. But there are plenty of other groups that meet during the day as well. Good luck.
I belong to a MOMS Club in the Lynnhaven area. You could contact Heather Burner at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com. I know there are a lot of them in the VA Beach area, and she should be able to give you some more info. I hope it works out for you. They really are a nice bunch of ladies.
I'm a part of MOPS in Chesapeake. I know there is a group in VB. If you got to MOPS.com they should have the listing for the group.
Have you checked meetup.com? There are quite a few mom's groups there. I am a party of Virginia Beach Moms and Tots, Mommy Network of Hampton Roads, and Virginia Beach Working Moms/Families group. They have a lot of play dates and there are various ages of kids.
