We like Lone Star on N Beach just south of Western Center; next door to Care Now I believe.
Thumbs down on Angelo's; JMO.
Does anyone know of any mom and pop bbq places? My step-dad wants to try some bbq and I only know of Spring Creek and Dickies but he does not want to try the chain restraunts. Thanks!!!

Railhead BBQ is very good. They are located in Fort Worth...I-30 and Montgomery.
The Feedstore on White Chapel in Southlake and Bartley's on Northwest Highway at Dooley are both really good bbq.
There is a place in White Settlement called Soda Springs BBQ.
It has pretty good food.
OMG! You have got to take him to Angelo's in Fort Worth. They have the coldest beer in town and awesome bbq. It was actually featured on one of those "top BBQ in the nation" tv shows. EXCELLENT!
Not sure where you are but there is a pretty good place in Azle called Mark Dean's. I believe they also just opened one in Saginaw however we havent eaten there yet.
Try Up N' Smoke in downtown Keller - and get the chocolate cobbler for dessert! Enjoy!

Bartley's in Grapevine. MMMMmmmmmm!
David's BBQ in Arlington on Park Row.
Angelos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bodacious BBQ in N. Arlington is great!
There is a place in Southlake called The Feedstore. They have great bbq.
Cotton Belt off Smithflield Rd in North Richland Hills is awesome. They have the best corn fritters! Yum-o! I'm not an Angelo's fan at all, but that's just personal preference. Soda Springs is good. I live out on that side of the world.
