Hi,
One more question.
Any moms out there very informed on the safety of the plastic used in the 'Baby Cook' baby food processor? Interested in your thoughts. Know of any alternative brands?
Thanks,
K.

I use a blender to make my 8 month old's food. I found it easier and cheaper.

Have a GREAT day!

I don't know about the plastic it's made from but I can tell you that it's a waste of money, thank God ours was a gift! Use a regular food processor or blender and save yourself $150.

I know that it is BPA free, but thats about all i know. We almost bought it, but ended up just steaming his fruit/veggies and browned meat on the stove. We used the food processor we already had to get everything to the right consistancy. It was still quite simple. Just make extra and freeze it in ice cube trays and then store it in a baggie or container until you're ready to use it. Good luck!

I have it and I love it.... the only issue that I have had with it is that the lid is does not fit tight on it so when you blend things that has more liquid it can splash out a little. I have always washed it by hand so I don't know why it is not fitting tight. But it really has not been a big deal. I actually used it today to make baby food and it was super fast and easy!

Braun hand mixer and mini food processor combo works great! just put a small amount of whatever you are eating in it.

I just used a full-size food processor to make enough to freeze, and a mini one for smaller batches. Not a special baby version. That and a steamer (wedding present I thought I'd never use!) was all I needed. Oh and good ice cube trays - the cheap ones weren't worth the pennies!
