I have had the implanon in my arm going on 3years, and Im thinking about getting it removed. So I was wondering if I got it removed how long would it take after the Implanon Removal to conceive? And how long would it take my periods to become normal again?
Any Suggestions ?

Usually takes a couple of months for your cycle to regulate after going off o any kind of birth control.

I have the implanon in my arm now, so I don't know about that individual bc. However I was also on the depo shot, which basically works the same way, and when I stopped the shot my body never started cycling on its own. When I called the doctor and told him he suggested taking a week of pills and then stopping and that kick started everything. After that it took me two months to get pregnant.

I have no experience with this method of birth control, but these seem like the kind of questions that are probably answered right on the FAQ section of the Implanon webpage.

Just a thought.

Hi, L:

It will probably take a year.

Good luck.
