Poor baby and poor mama! I hope you take him to the doctor asap. Try a medicine syringe to get some pedialyte into him (Walgreens / RiteAid sells them if you don't have any at home). Just suck some up, gently push it in to his mouth on the side and squirt it into his mouth. That way you are getting something into him without asking him to do it. I hope he feels better very very soon!

Do you breastfeed exclusively? Is he vomiting milk or food, or is it mucus? Does he vomit following feedings or does it seem more random? Is he gagging first, or does it just come up and out? Is it a lot at one time? Will he still drink water? Are his diapers still good and wet? Is he still willing to get up and play? Does he smile? Does he have a fever?

Have you called his pediatrician?

I assume you think he has a stomach virus. If so, the answer is pedialyte! Very small amounts at a time to try to keep it from coming back up - for example, a small sip every 5 minutes. If this has been going on for more than a few hours and/or he becomes very lethargic, eyes look sunken or dark around them, or he's not having wet diapers, then please go to the ER. He may need to get an IV so he doesn't become dangerously dehydrated.

Try a tablespoon of pedialyte every 15 minutes. If he can't hold it down, you need to call your pediatrician or go to an urgent care clinic.

A baby... can EASILY get dehydrated. And this is dangerous.
For that reason, you NEED to take baby to the Doctor, like today.

You would not know... what to give him or what to do, without professional medical advice.

AND since he is also not feeding.

You really need to take him to the Doctor.

I'm also assuming he has a stomach virus. I know my son had a very bad stomach virus once, he was about 1 yr old. One thing I remembered the nurse on call telling me, do let him nurse until he stop throwing up for at least 3 hours. It was a HORRIBLE stomach virus. Call your doctor right away.
Hugs going out to you momma!

Sounds like a virus but I would take him to the Doctor just to be on the safe side.
