The YMCA is a great place to go. I go to the one just south of Custer and Arapahoe. The prices are good there too. There is one on Greenville that has an indoor pool. The childcare is included in the price of the membership.

I am looking for a gym or fitness center in the Dallas area that provides babysitting for my four month old while I am working out.

the premier club in dallas is great. i take my child there and the staff is so nice. also, they have child care all day and on weekends which isn't very easy to find. it's $4 for 2 hrs of childcare. the membership is about $120 + registration. i love it.
Try LA FITNESS..they are opening new locations all around Dallas and Plano. They have a free "kids club" for up to 2 hours so you can work out. My daughter is 18 months and loves it..I have to drag her out of there most of the time. I joined the Las Colinas location..but the one in Plano is really nice as well. I shopped a lot of places and this one was the best for the price and the kids club was just much nicer than the others.
Good Luck!
If I remember correctly, 24 hour fitness charges a small fee for childcare. The location I went to, Marsh/Trinity Mills in Far North Dallas, doesn`t change diapers either. I found the service very poor:daycare room not very clean and the caregiver not very attentive. This was 5 years ago, they might have improve their service. I heard only good things about Lifetime fitness. There is one on Trinity Mills, close to Covenant church.
Lifetime Fitness has an awesome Kid's Club. My son ASKS to go there almost every day!
Town North YMCA has child care and it's affordable if that's an issue, they also have great equipment and pools.
It's on Northaven Rd and Midway. If that is not convienant for you should check out other YMCA's.
Good Luck

Try 24 hour fitness. We go to the one on royal and 75 and they watch out children for up to 2 hours while we work out.
Lifetime Fitness is wonderful! They have huge facilities that are as nice as some resort spas I have visited. The have a great childrens center, with a seperate area for infants, toddlers and older kids. My kids love to go to the gym with me. You can leave your kids in childcare for 2 hours at a time, which is nice. You actually have time to workout and then shower or get a massage if you want. I highly recommend them. The rates are very reasonable too.
Hi S.,
Try 24 hour fitness. They have clubs all over the Dallas area. I took my son to the Mesquite club on Galloway. They did tell me if your child is in diapers to be sure and have them clean before you bring them in. They told me they do not change diapers. Hello!!! It's a daycare for crying out load. Anyway if you decide to go there, make sure and ask them if they do diaper duty.
Good luck
The only facility I know of that provides child care is Lifetime fitness. I do not know how young they will take them though. You may want to try 24Hour Fitness as well.
Good luck!

The Tom Landry Center at Baylor has an outstanding workout facility with tons of classes (yoga to kickboxing), great weight training and workout room, pools, and wonderful locker room with all the amenities. The best part is that they have child care for $3/hour. You have to call with 24 hour notice so they can ensure appropriate teacher child ratios are in check. Hope that helps.
