I am looking for a new pediatrician. I prefer a woman who is easy to talk to. Any suggestions?
Thanks for all of the advice. I have an insurance plan that doesn't cover alot of doctors. I looked into all the ones suggested and none were on my plan. I did find a great dr. in Chapel hill. He is very nice and funny. He has five (grown) kids of his own so nothing surprises him. He is easy to talk to and great with my kids. So far we are very happy. Thanks again for the advice.
I use Dr. Carrie Priebe as well for both of my children and am pregnant with my 3rd. He/she will go to her as well. I agree with the comment that she knows your kids when you walk in. No matter which one I am bringing in she always asks about the other one and knows them by name if we pass her in the hallway on the way to our room. She is wonderful.

I love this doctor. I went in there and she knew my kids immediately. She was well versed in all three of my kids. The office is now computerized. So all their records are there at her fingertips. The well baby visits they get books. Which is always a blessing.
I have two children 20 months and 3 years old. They was both diagnosed with failure to survive by their old pediatrician. She gave me the courage and the help to breast feed the 20 month old till she was 18 months. The other doctor from the old office wanted me to stop at 8 months.
I call and I get in. It is right next door to my nine year old daughter's cheerleading facility. It is great to know she is there if I need her.
She is not in Kent, but in Tallmadge not far off the circle. She is great. Her name is Carrie Priebe. She is with CHPA of Tallmadge. Dr. Gulmi, (suggestion of Julie C.) is in the same practice with her. He is good too, but may not be taking new patients. He wasn'r 5 years ago when my son was born which is how we ended up with Dr. Preibe and have been extremely happy with her. We live in Kenmore and drive out there to see her. Awesome Pediatrician in Kent is Dr. V. Hegde on Cherry st. in Kent....I have taken my son there since he was born and he is great! He takes care of him as he would his own child. Dr Gulmi,while he is not a woman however he is very easy to talk to. He does not rush you out like most Dr's tend to do. He answers all your questions, and if he doesn't know the answer right away he will call you at home with the correct answer. He is also located at 143 Northwest ave right off the Tallmadge circle. He is the best Ped I have ever taken my kids to. I am happy to have found him. He is very thourough in treating each child that comes in.
