Seeking Good Workout Video...

I have roughly about 1-2 hours during the day that are all mine which occurs when both of my boys are napping at the same time. Typically I go online at that time. I have been thinking about using some of that time to workout as I would like to lose some weight. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on workout videos that they have enjoyed? What did you like about it? Are there any videos that you have tried that were awful and why? I appreciate your time!

The absolute best workout vidio you will ever try is "The Firm" Body sculpting basics, total body workout. This tape produces real results! I love all the Firm total body videos. I have tried them all, and these workouts really deliver. They are not easy, and at first you will only be able to part of it, but if you are consistant you will eventually be able to complete a video. They combine aerobics and weight training, They also explain why combining the two produce the greatest weight loss results. They are the best!!!

Hi.. I'm not sure where you live but here in Battle Creek our libraries have workout videos for free.. Plus Family Video has some to rent for free too... I have bought many in the past and didnt like most of them and ended up losing money because I never used them... So I suggest trying a few different ones for free(if you can then) if you find one you can go to the store and buy it... For me personally, I thought I would love Yoga or Pilaties but ended up hating them and really like kickboxing or Tai-Bo instead.. So try some for free and then you might find one you really enjoy, because we all know the secret to working out is you have to enjoy yourself or else you wont do it. Good luck with it!!

Tai Bo - Billy Blanks does it for me. It keeps you moving. Its hard at first and you won't make it through it the first few times but it builds your stamina as well as your body. Good luck.

I love Billy Blanks! Get the boot camp workouts with the resistant bands Got me in shape quick I start to see the difference in about a week if I do it for an hour a day. You also have to watch what you eat and portion sizes. Good Luck!

I really like the Walk away the pounds videos. They come with a one mile, two mile, and three mile walk on a dvd so you can start out slower and work your way up. Plus if you don't have a lot of time on day you can choose a shorter walk and still get in a good work out. I have tried a lot of the other video's people suggested but found I wasn't in good enough shape to do many of them. But with Walk Away the pounds I lost 20 pounds, I was also watching what I ate. Not really dieting but just being cautious about what I ate. I fell out of the habit of working out but really need to start doing it again. Good luck in what ever you try.

I also use Slim and six and Debbie Siebers other set that follows that program as well as power 90 and p90X. I really like all the beach body products best. I found that buying their resistance band is the way to go too. However I did have trouble with the customer service...they are a little out to get you on the website because you can't back track. If you decide to order, you may want to call it in.

I really love Slim in 6 with Debbie Siebers. This work-out video, I find, is one of the easiest to follow, the moves really work, and it isn't very long either. I can honestly tell you that I lost inches doing this video for only one month. I first found the video on ON Demand under exercise videos. If you have this feature on your cable, it is a great place to try out different work-outs. Hope this helps!

yes i use one called eight min bun and thigh (bonus)video i picked it up at rite aid for under twenty dollar it a great video it cover buns thigh belly and a lot more each one lasting 8 min buy it you will love it

I am sure all the videos are great....I am looking for some myself. Though I just joined Netflix and am having different ones sent to me so I don't have to buy them! If you hate it send it back and a new one will come to your mailbox. If then you like one you could keep it for as long as you wanted too....(or then you could buy it!) J. C

I am not sure of any good videos but there is a Gym called LIfetime that has two hour daycare, and they have every single kind of class you can imagine. That way you can have your time on the computer or whatever when they are napping and you can get another break during the day to workout. My kids love the daycare there. My husband and I work opposite days so they really only hang out with either him or me. So when they go to the gym, they have a blast, it is a great daycare. Just a thought, I know it has worked for me. L.
