Seeking Doctor Recommendations in Deerfield Area

For an ob/gyn: I recommend North Shore Women's Health. They have an office in Highland Park--in the medical building adjacent to the Highland Park Hospital. They delivered 2 of our 3 kids (didn't live in Illinois for the first one). It's a well-rounded practice with lots of experience/wisdom. The phone # is ###-###-####. Dr. Becker, Dr. Adis and Dr. Hughes are all highly competent. And Dr. Kim is a DO. You could meet them and figure out who/what suits you.

I LOVE the OB/GYN practice I go to. It's in Arlington Heights though, near Dundee and Rand roads. They specialize in a lot of woman problems, like incontinence, as well. Also, blood test are taken on site. It's very convenient, but you'd be delivering in Norhtwest Community Hospital, if you became pregnant again. They are adding a brand-new maternity wing that's not even finished yet.

All the doctor's are great, but I see Dr. Randall Kahan the most.

I use to go to Dr. Terkildsen on Deerfield and Lake Cook. She is through ENH (now North Shore) medical group. She is fabulous. I, unfortunately, don't believe she does OB anymore (only gyn)but you could find out. The others in practice were so nice too. I only left because of the commute.

I really enjoyed the care of Kathy Puls, a midwife. She has offices in Evanston and Buffalo Grove which are both close to Deerfield. I've always had gyn/obs and as a midwife she spends more time listening and asking questions. She has a great sense of humor as well which makes those visits easier.
