I love my internist, Roger Eppstein. He's just amazing - listens (really listens), asks questions, and provides thorough care (not drive-thru service). Here's the website: http://www.mcnt.com/bios/Dr._Roger_Eppstein.htm
Good luck!
I am looking for a great doctor in the Fort Worth area who is patient and kind, who also actually listens to the patient and respects their opinion and is actually willing to go the extra mile and research and test what the patient may think is wrong with them. Looking for a doctor who takes BCBS insurance and can do proper testing to check cortisol levels. I was told by my First Lady at church, who is a breast cancer surviver to know your own body and take action when you know something is just not right. And when you do take action and you find your doctor just dismisses you, it is kind of dishearting and discouraging.

My doctor is not in Ft. Worth, but close. OBGYN Dr. Kimberly Walker ###-###-####. She has an office in Arlington and Mansfield. She is in an office with a lot of good doctors. She has such a great personality and listens. I don't know what insurance she accepts ( I have Aetna). You can call to find out. God bless you.
I really like my doctor. Karen Birdy. She is a hormone specialist which sounds like what you may want. I have been going to her for 6 years and I also have BCBS. Here is her info:

I'm not sure what type of doctor you are looking for, but Dr. Lisa Gardner is an OB/GYN and she is absolutely wonderful. She treats her patients like family, which is very positive in this day and age when you are typically a number. Hr staff is rat too. I had an issue with fertility that she helped with and was there every step of the way after that until my little girl was born. She even embraced my husband during the process of having my daughter as if he was one of her patients too.
I have had some very good luck with doctors. My primary care provider is Patrick Conway and he has been very good to me too. I have been pleased with him. I have Tricare and although the insurance itself has made some changes...I've been blessed with the doctors that take it. He is very thorough and if he referred me out for issues beyond his expertise without any problems.
It is my understanding they both take BCBS.
I hope this helps. Good luck with finding a doctor.
Have you tried the FEM Centre in Ft. Worth or Colleyville? I have been going there for 3+ years for all my women's wellness visits. Through blood work/labs, my dr. found my thyroid was out of balance and has been treating me since....very thorough, good listeners and they use both pharmaeutical meds and nutrition/vitamins for treatment. I usually see Dan Petr (I think he is a PA) to Dr. McWherter. They also take BCBS insurance since that is what I use to be on. Website is www.femcentre.com -- check it out and hopefully it will help in your search.
