Celebrity Bakery in Lincoln Square has very good cakes!

Barbaras Bakery in Grand Prairie makes the best cakes. She made my daughters first birthday cake and my mothers wedding cake just 2 weeks ago. It is on Main St.

I recommend The Red Oven Bakery or Cooper Street Bakery. Red Oven is on Bowen Rd, just south of Park Row. Cooper Street is south of 303 on Cooper just past California Ln. Hope you get to try these!

Costco makes some really great cakes. I don't know if you have a membership or know someone who does, but they are as good or better than many bakeries I've tasted. If you don't know anyone, but would like to pick a cake up in the morning, give me a call. We'll have to work around our babies (mine is also 8 months) schedules, but I need a few things from there anyway, so I could meet you and you could just buy it on my card as long as you pay with cash. I just bought a 10 inch round cake for my daughter at Sam's and it was so moist and tasted great! The half sheet is $20.00 I think.. They also have cheesecakes there as well.
