Our family is moving to Maple Grove and are looking for a good daycare for our 2 year old girl and future baby sister in October. We've heard Primrose, but are wondering if we should check out anywhere else? We are not familiar with the area so don't know where to start. It's such an important decision and don't want to mess it up :)

What can I do next?

I would highly recommend either Primrose or we go to The Goddard School in Plymouth (if that works for you). Both are very similar in their programming and while they are expensive compared to an in-home, I would not trade it for the world. I am so pleased watching our son thrive in the environment and they also have pre-k programs so we'll be able to keep him there until Kindergarten.

My son goes to Tender Time Learning Center ###-###-####) and we are very pleased with thier program and caring staff. It is a daycare center so a little bit more expensive but we don't mind paying for the peace of mind we get with him there.

Good luck!

Hi T.!
Our son (now 1 yr old) is at the Primrose in Maple Grove and we LOVE it! They are so wonderful to him and really make you as a parent, feel as if you are a part of their family. Everyone there knows my sons name whether they are his teacher or not. I even get calls occassionally just to tell me about something that he is doing that might be out of the norm. The Owner, Director and Assistant Directors are so ingrained in every part of what happens there that I have always had any question answered immediately and fully. The staff is so loving that I always feel assured and comforted when I drop my little one off, knowing that all of the staff cares for my child as much as I do. I know that they are filling up fast, so if you are considering it, I would call and get on the list as soon as possible.
Good luck with your search!

PS - If Primrose is filled, check out Seeds to Seedlings off of Hemlock/Northwest Blvd in Maple Grove or the Montessori (Step By Step) in Maple Grove.

I do in home daycare....that is always an option. Seeds to Seedlings is great. (I go to church with the owners) Step by Step Montessori is in NE Plymouth right off 169 and Rockford Road. People love it there, too. Good luck!
