I would love to share some info with you when I get a little more time. I have controlled my son's ADD completely with diet. I have done a litte research on the plastic issue. I found some great perfect size glass water bottles for my kids - even a good size for my 2 yr old to hold at the world market. (check out VOSS water bottles). As far as finding a good baby bottle - I have not yet - I am sure there has got to bo some good ones somewhere. Avoid all number 7 plastic bottles as they are cosidered the worst culprit. Unfortunately the health market has not caught onto that one yet and i noticed in most of the health food stores thier water containers ARE number 7's - yikes!
I have attended seminars, read contless books and articles, and interviewed many in the past 4 years. i have most of my family off artificial colors, flavors, hydrogenated oils, corn, pasterized dairy, wheat, and absolutely no refined sugars. I get the meat we eat from farmers who raise grass fed animals and do not inject or grain feed them. My son was quite severe ADD by preschool age, and I myself had adult ADD. When we follow the diet we have absolutely no symptoms or problems. It is obvious when my son has a dietary mistake by his behavior. Also though - my son is a long story that iw ould love to share with you - by age 3 he had 3 major autoimmune diseases (chrones, diabetes, universal reactor to most foods and many plants, asthma, chronic sinusitis and ear infections.) I witnessed many miracles as I changed his diet. I am happy to say that he has not had any steroids or antibiotics since age 4 (he is now 9) and no longer has asthma, diabetes (type 2 of course), no sinus or ear problems, and allergies are now minimal. I myslef have stopped having chronic migraines, unexplained stomach pain, joint pain, and fatigue. i could go on - let me know if and what details you are interested in. Good luck to you and your health!
