I was previously able to arrange my work schedule around my husband's so we didn't need daycare for our daughter. His work is now going to a very strange schedule and I don't think it will be possible for both of us to work full time with his new hours. I called a few child care facilities who will take a child on the same days all the time, but the problem is my husband's schedule changes every 8 weeks so our days we need someone will then change and I don't know if they'll appreciate that. Does anyone know a home day care service that wouldn't mind taking on a child with this kind of schedule? I would need someone Tues & Wed for the first 8 weeks, and then just Fridays the next 8 weeks. Looking in Plainfield/Naperville area. Anyone with advice or know someone willing to help out? I hate that I have to pay for daycare now and his employer is not the least bit "family friendly". Thanks!
Hi! Not sure where you live, but I am actually just looking into starting to babysit this fall. I have a 3 yr old son who will be starting preschool this fall, a 9 yr old daughter who will be in the 4th grade and a 1 yr old son. I am in the Plainfield/Joliet area. My schedule is very flexible (LOL I guess it has to be with my three kids!). Not sure if you are interested, but if you ever need a backup plan ~ you can count me as an option!
