I attend Cottonwood Creek in Allen. The women in my adult bible fellowship class has been doing a bible study on "managing your moods" which we will finish on Monday. We will be deciding on our next study this week too. We meet the first and third Monday of the month usually in fairview at 7PM. This group of women is awesome and I learn so much from them. Hello K.! There are christian women's groups out there that are not affiliated with a church/non denominational. One example is Stonecroft Christian Womens' Connection. They meet once a month for a luncheon, then they also meet once a month for prayer connection and then meet for bible studies- at all various levels.

I am vice chair for the Frisco chapter, but I am from Richardson and love the group...these ladies are my best friends. We had our monthly luncheon yesterday-what fun, had a fashion show & it was awesome! If you are interested, the luncheon is the second Thursday of the month and we meet at Stonebriar Country Club from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm- free child care provided, lunch is $17 all inclusive; prayer connection is the first Thursday of each month, the next prayer connection will be Thursday 8/2 at 10:30 am at Solare' Cafe in Frisco.

In fact, any of you moms reading this are invited! I left corporate america two years ago and when I did I was in search of a women's group to get involved in because I feared this would be the one source of interaction I would miss the most upon leaving an office full of people. Please call or email me any questions, also please feel free to contact the ladies listed above as Pat will have info. for other chapters in the area and Diane & Debbie can give specifics about plugging into a bible study, etc.

I've done a great study before with BSF (Bible Study Fellowship), their website is http://www.bsfinternational.org/Home/tabid/53/Default.aspx.

They do a very in-depth study on one subject or book (they're doing Romans now) and it's held all over the world- everyone studying the same thing. It's non-denominational. I learned so much when I did it- really enjoyed it and loved getting so into my bible.

I attend Community Bible Study... www.communitybiblestudy.org
It's open to all denominations and is very similar to BSF that someone else mentioned. I live in Richardson and attend the Plano group, but there are several groups in the metroplex. It meets during the school year. I just started last year and it has been a real blessing to dig a little deeper and grow. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. -J.
