I have a 6 year old girl who loves ballet, but I can't seem to get her back into a class later in the evening. We were at a place downtown Gresham, but they stopped having them at 6pm and things didn't turn out too great before we left anyway. We seemed to be the outsiders because our kids didn't come during the day. Ever feel that way? We would just like to know if anyone knows of another place, around that time, that we could get her into. Thank you.

Hi, I have a 7 year old daughter that is taking ballet at Body and Soul creative dance. The studio is located about 145th off of Foster. I know for sure they have a class on Tuesdays at 5:30, not sure if they have any later for that age. This is a great studio, I attedded this studio for about 5 years as a child. Great teachers, great group of kids. Hope this was helpful for you.
I can completely relate! I too work full time in downtown PDX and have a little girl that loves ballet. I've had to settle for Saturday morning classes. My daughter goes to Lake Oswego Academy of Dance from 9:15 - 10:15 on Saturday mornings. Not ideal, but it has worked out for us! Good luck!

I'm not sure if it would be what you are looking for, but Gymstars in Gresham on Stark st. and 223rd. has a class on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. I believe it is called sparklers kids. Check out their website at www.gymstarkids.com

My son currently does dance (all kinds) at Pacific Dance Academy in Milwaukie.
He used to dance with a lady who is opening a new dance school in June and I would recommend her above all else. She has done evening and Saturday classes and her new studio will be in the Brooklyn area. If you want I can get you her number as I know she would love to have new students! Her plan is to open in June for summer dance camps/workshops. My son has won dance competitions with her choreography, but more than that he just loves to dance for/with her.
