chicken fat/broth is supposed to help, drinking tea w/honey and gargle w/salt water
actually I would go see the doctor because a sore throat can go to strep or into pneumonia. best to get it checked out. Otherwise gargle with warm salt water. Take plenty of garlic and vitamin c. I always like ice cold 7up when i have a sore throat.
if you do not want to see the doctor as your pharmists.

Gargle with salt water. You can do this as often as you'd like and it will not affect your baby at all.
Hi T.,
My midwives said Cold Eeze (zinc lozenges) are fine. Also, you can take tylenol if you're in pain. But I agree with everyone else about soup, tea, and warm salt water.
Feel better soon!

One of the best remedies for a sore throat is to gargle warm salt water. It works! And it's completely safe.
Hope you feel better.

You can Gargle with warm salt water. Suck on hard candy. Try to coat it with honey. Check with your OB about the throat sprays and get in in case you have strep. THey can give you antibiotics. Hope you feel better. Merry Christmas.
Drink hot tea with honey and lemon,
Eat garlic with honey
Gargle with warm salt water
Hope you feel better...
Chicken soup. Hot herbal tea (no caffeine) with honey and lemon. Drink extra fluids. Do talk to your doctor and have a throat culture for strep - especially if you have a fever. Sucking on lifesavers can bathe your throat in extra moisture and feel good.
I hope you feel better soon!
What about herbal tea, with some honey? That may help soothe it.
what about tea and honey? defintly the warm salt water gargle/rinse. hope you feel better!
The week before I gave birth to my daughter, I had a terrible cold with a sore throat. I used some throat lozenges for a sore throat. I did an online search and they seemed to be safe.
