Hello Everyone! I am having a huge dilema. I absolutely LOVE my OB/Gyn, and had a VERY successful pregnancy, labor and delivery under his care (Dr. Bottiglier!). However my health coverage at work has gotten EXTREMELY expensive, and my husband and I are looking into getting coverage on our own. We are looking into Keiser and unfortunately, Dr. Bottiglieri does not accept that insurance. I am not happy about this at all since I adore Dr. B, but Keiser is the cheapest AND our primary care doctors and pediatrician accept it, so we are probably going to go with it. Does anyone have a FABULOUS OB/Gyn they can recommend in the area? I am very anxious about switching, but to switch to Keiser is going to save us $150/month, which is a huge deal. Please help! :)
Thank you SO much everyone for your recommendations. They are going to be very helpful when my husband and I sit down and make our final decision. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to reply! I hope everyone had a great holiday!

I use Capital Women's Care at St. Joseph Medical Center. It is a group of docs. I do not know which are accepting new patients, but when you are pregnant, you see all of them b/c you never know who will deliver you. Good Luck with this choice. I know it is a difficult one. In fact when I was pregnant with my first, I had to switch doctors. I loved my original gyn, but he recommended this group and I am really glad he did.

I love my doc, Dr. Adashek, but he doesn't deliver anymore, so if you want more babies, he may not be the one for you. He has a PA Peggy Stoupher that works with him that is also good and sees patients. I can tell you a few to avoid, and it is funny because when 2 of my preggo friends came in complaining about their OBs and were going to switch, those were the ones that I absolutely despised too. Good luck to you. I thought Kaiser had only docs that worked for Kaiser and no other insurance company, but I could be wrong.
I ABSOLUTELY Love mine, but I dont know if he is in Kaiser, Dr. Arthur Nauman.
Hi - I am an Labor & Delivery RN at GBMC - when you go to Kaiser, you see all the Kaiser docs - Drs. Wu, Sohn-Woo, Bernard and Feldman. I like each of them, but especially reccomend Dr. Sohn-Woo. Who you get just depends who is on when you go into labor, unless you have a scheduled C/S or induction, but even then it is not a given. Dr. Hajj also sometimes covers for them.
Because it is an HMO it is them or switch to another insurance company (from all that I have learned - although I thought it was the same with Peds, so maybe?).
I love Dr Allen too!! But she is not part of the Kaiser system. Likewise with the midwives at Mercy - who I hear great things about.
Not sure if he is in Keiser, but Dr. Michael Richman at Mercy is wonderful! He has been my OB/GYN for over 10 years, and I would never switch. He has delivered both of my girls.
He is very personable, and has two young boys of his own.
Check him out if your plan allows.

Not sure if you might want to go this route, but I used Kathleen Slone, Julie Bell, Stephanie Rhodes practice. They are midwives though not OB's. I had an awesome awesome birth experience with Julie in September with my first baby. They are very loving, attentive, relaxed... If you want more info, let me know or look them up. They deliver at Mercy Hospital but their office is in Baltimore City in Charles Village....
