Seeking a Good Dance Instructor/studio in Las Vegas or Henderson Area for Child.

I am actually a dance instructor (currently taking a break from it though to be a SAHM). The studio I grew up dancing at and have taught at for years is Bunker Dance Center. They by far have the best program (especially for young children) in town. I used to teach all ages, including your son's age, so I know the kind of things they would be doing/teaching him... I'm looking for a good hip hop class for my 4 year old son in the Henderson area because he loves to dance, please let me know if you hear anything.

There is a lot of local places you can go. One really great option is to go to one of the rec centers in Henderson. (they are located all over the city) My daughter, husband and myself have all taken clases at a few different centers. It's great because you can sign up for the clases and they usually run for only about a month and usually cost around $20.00 for the month, (depending on the class) so if you or he don't absolutley love it it's only costted a minimal amount and your not tied into a full year program. My daughter has been attending there since she was 3. They work really well with young children. Last year I remember a young boy that danced and performed in the recital at the end of the year. He did a GREAT job!!! :)

You will just have to sift through the one's that will be closest to your area and that teach young children.

Try Studio 34 on Pecos near Sunset. My children and I fell very very fortunate to have Amber (owner and instructor) as their teacher. She just retired from dancing professionally. Her last job was dancing with Celine Dion. It ended on December 15, 2007. Her studio opened up in July of 2007. She is gifted, very professional and an elegant human being. I have two daughters taking ballet from her and a daugther and son ages 7 yrs. who take jazz from her.
