Hi Mom's

I am seeking recommendations for 4th of July fireworks events that are "toddler" friendly. I have both a 2-year old and 4-year old. I can travel to SE valley, Phoenix area and Scottsdale.

Thanks in advance for your response ! And Happy 4th of July to all !

What can I do next?

I have a 3 1/2 yo and a 2 yo. I think we are going to try the fireworks at Tumbleweed Rec Center on Germann and McQueen. They have stuff starting at 4pm. You can check out their website.

Last year we went to Gilbert Days, which was held at the Soccer Complex at Greenfield and Germann. They had inflatables for the kids. It was a little spendy in my opinion ($10.00 for a wristband), but the kids had fun. The fireworks were awesome too!

I had that problem last year. I don't like to spend money or have to buckle my kids down for fun activites. What I did was I looked up some fireworks shows and then checked on the google earth program. It gives an areal view of the city so I looked and found some retention basins around central christian church. They were in the neighborhoods, so there were some people, but it was nice and cool in the grass and the kids could run around and play. We had a great view of the fireworks and parking was easy. You don't have to go in that same area but if you check on AZfamily.com they have all the fireworks shows and you can do it that way too. good luck.

K.,
Good question! I too would like to know what you hear. I have a 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old and I'd like to take them somewhere that's not too busy. Everyone told me I should go to Tempe Town Lake, but they get way to packed. I don't want to have to go there at noon just to get a seat!
