Hello ladies,
At work we do a secret friend (not santa)and I ended up with a very nice lady but something hard to do anything for. I was wondering if any of you had a website with inspirational sayings or cute inexpensive (very cheap) ideas. She does not like chocolate, other then peanut m&m's. She is a big coffee and tea (green tea) drinker. Any thouhghts. We do this for a whole month so thats why it has to been cute little things to do throughout the week. At the end (at our christmas party) we all exchange $10 gift.

What can I do next?

SInce she loves coffee why not get a french press travel mug from Dunn Bros? They are so cool. It's a french press in a to go cup! My mom uses hers everyday.

i like all the ideas of samplers. maybe give samplers and small packs of m&ms throughout the month. then at party a coffe mug and m&m dispenser. walgreens has dispensers for $10. they have red, blue, green and yellow characters. plus you can always find mugs for couple of $ with any type decorations or just plain.

enjoy!

At grocery stores you can buy the little sampler coffees cheap. Also at barnes and noble or hallmark or clairs/icing you might be able to get fun pens/pins or bookmarks with sayings or other cheap things. If you know her birthstone, maybe something in the color of the stone with a saying. A flower to brighten her day.
If you want websites google 'Inspirational quotes' there are tons of sites that have good ones.

How about those individual packets of flavored coffee each day? Around here, they are only a buck or two. Each packet is for a pot of coffee.

I like the french press idea. I may check that out myself as I'm a coffee/tea drinker also. That would be nice to use at work. :)

Good luck with your ideas.
Merry Christmas,
~SR

My husband is a huge coffee drinker and uses a french press. If you have a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon, you can get the 20% off there. For his coffee, he needs it freshly roasted, he orders on-line. It is roasted the same day as it's shipped. (our mailman loves when he gets the shipment, it's very strong smelling). The website is called Jessicasbiscuit.com They also sell a huge variety of great cookbooks.

As a drinker of both coffee and tea, I love my coffee press. You can make up to four cups of coffee, or use it to make loose-leaf tea. I love mine, and you can get the basic bodum one from target for about $12. Wal-Mart might have it for cheaper. I bought one for a friend a few years ago and she keeps it at her office because you don't need any electricity or supplies to use it.

Hi S.--If you co-worker is a tea lover you should check adagio teas online (adagio.com); they have the best teas and all sorts of loose teas, tea bags, stocking stuffer packages that you could dole out one at a time. Don't know how much time you have to order--but their products are excellent. Good luck!!

Target has cute mini bags of coffee and tea in odd flavors. The coffee is usually a dollar a bag. Otherwise check out teh dollar section, cute things for her kitchen or desk are fun, you could always do a different office supply each day/week until she has a whole set. We used to do this at the school I worked for and we'd leave one thing a day for a week with a big gift at the end...i'd usually leave candy one day, a drink the next, a christmas ornament one day, then something that will lead up to the big gift. Cute holiday socks are fun as well. Good luck!
