An of the One-Minute Clinics will be able to give the kid a shot.
I have a friend that has been trying for quite some time to get her little girl that is 2 yrs 8 mo old a seasonal flu shot. She lives in the Shawnee area, but is willing to go anywhere in the metro area. Her Dr.'s office has been out of shots for a while now, and mine requires you to be a patient. Her little girl was a preemie and has had RSV, and her daycare had some outbreaks of the flu. Can anyone help me help her find a place to get her little girl a flu shot? Thank you so much in advance.

I take my daughter to College Point Medical (23450 College Blvd). It is located at K-7 and College. As of Monday, they had the regular flu shot (mercury free) and it is done through their walk-in clinic. It is always best to call ahead and make sure they have it ###-###-####).
Try Pediatric Care Specialists. They still have shots and mist for kids under three. The website is pedscarespecialists.com
my doctor says they aren't in yet but expect them to be in sometime in October or Nov.
If your doctors office is accepting new patients, would it be worth it for her to fill out the new patient paperwork? She doesn't have to transfer paperwork from her regular Doctor to do that.
M., I called the CVS Pharmacy at 119th and Ridgeview in Olathe about 2 weeks ago and they still had the pediatric flu shot. If she calls the Wal-Greens Minute Clinic the recording will transfer her to a national customer service and the people there can tell her every location in the KC area, or any other area, that have what she needs.
Good Luck, M.
Try CVS, it is walk in only and I believe u just have to be 2 years or older!
