They have them at the Stride Rite store at the Independence Center in Indpendence MO. You may be able to get them online through Stride Rite also. They have all kinds of styles and colors that are cute.
My son will not leave him shoe laces alone, and I've tried velcro shoes, but he;s constantly undoing them also. I know my mother used to have little plastic show lace covers for some children she used to babysit when I was younger, does anyone know if they still make these, or where I can find them? They were little plastic rectangle pieces that clipped over the knot part of the bow...
Thank you to Debi T for providing the link to If the Shoe Fits, I ordered some "keep tys" for my son and a few for my sister's child. I really felt like I had looked everywhere for them, I'll be glad when they get here and my son will (hopefully) keep his shoes on and tied.

I've also seen them at Wal-mart, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, and Babies R Us.
I found some at the Stride Rite Childrens Shoe Store at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters. I do believe the other Malls in the area also have these stores. They didn't work very well for my son, so most of the time I tie his shoes in a double knot and that seems to do the trick.
Good Luck
Daniel's Shoes sells them, I'm pretty sure.

You might want to check out the new converse that have no strings and no velcro - you can get them at journeys for kids!
They are called bow-biters and I used them for my boys but that was more than 10 years ago.
Hi J., Yes I used them on my babies as well. You used to be able to get them at Walmart, if not check with Babies R Us. I don't know if they still make them or not. Have you tried to double bow tie them ? tie a bow then use the bow to tie again.
where can i find them
I actually used those when my son was little. They were cylinder though with bells on them and I found them in the infant department at walmart. I hope this helps.

They are called Bow Biters. I think that if you look at Walmart or online you can find them. My 10 year old used to do the same thing...
Good luck.
They have those at a shoe store on MacArthur, right off Nortwest Expressway, next to BancFirst. I bought some for my daughter because I wore them. My mother promptly got sick of them and lost them...oh well...they were around long enough to keep her from untying (sp?) her shoes every chance she got...lol
I think that they have them at walmart...in the shoe department. That is where they were when I worked there! If you dont see them ask someone that works in that department!
Try asking at expensive children's shoe stores. I asked for those a couple years ago because I never saw them out so I asked at Stride Right Shoes and they had them behind the desk - just a few - as people don't ask for those very often. They had a little bell sound when the child walked - very cute, too. Also try searching the internet.
