I"m not sure where you live but Birthmark in media offers childbirth classes and so does The Birth Center in Bryn Mawr. The website for Birthmark is Familybirthmark.com. Good luck.
Hi
I am getting certifed as a childbirth educator - so I have to "sit-in" on a class and observe. I took a class 9 years ago and 2 years ago for my other births, but this is as a student. Anyone know any? Thanks,
-H.

abington memorial hospital had a good one
I would think anyhospital w/a maternity ward. The hospitals where I delivered my kids, as well as our local hospital, all have the courses. We took a private course from a woman who came to our home, recommended by friends who did the same, but I don't remember her name.
Hi H.!
You don't specify what type of Childbirth Education you are looking to teach. Do you want to do the general Lamaze-type they usually teach at hospitals? If not, there is also the Bradley method which I learned before having my first baby and really found helpful. You can Google it on-line I'm sure for information. I know they still e-mail me about instructor training, so it's out there. Best of Luck!

PA Hospital at 8th and Spruce Streets. There main # is ###-###-####. When I went for my own kids there was students in the class. Good Luck!
Try Beth Curtis at Believeinbirth.com. she's running a training session next weekend, i think...
H. - sounds exciting! Check out the Maternal Wellness Center in Mt. Airy. Great place - I took a class there when I was pregnant and really enjoyed it. The center offers all kinds of great support and services for moms and moms-to-be. www.maternalwellness.org
Good Luck!
