My Dad lives right near Sea World, so we have been going to Sea World each Spring Break since my boys were about 3 and 5. Here is how we do it during Spring Break - arrive at least 30 minutes before gates open - this will already have you parking a little ways out, and by the time you get your stuff together and walk to the gate it should be opening. Look up the show schedules online and decide how you want to attack your day. We usually go three days. I buy one season pass and every one else gets a "fun pass" - the Fun Pass gets them in until New year's Day. The Annual pass costs more, but gets you the free parking ($15 per day, makes it worth the increased price, but not necessary to buy more than one) and lasts a full year. Oh, and buy your passes online to avoid the lines - then you scan your printout at one of the self-service machines to get your ticket. Okay, back to how we attack the day - Each day we choose one show, one attraction, then hit the kids' area. I usually pick a show that starts right after the gates open - head straight there so you are at the front of the line to get in and get a good seat (rather than doing this later in the day when it is hotter). Take snacks in a backpack so kids can snack while you wait. Maybe take a game or book too (may be a thirty minute wait - for later shows, you may want to get there an hour before showtime for a decent seat). Then we head to see an attraction - penguins, sharks, dolphin feeding (be sure to check feeding times). Then we go to the kids' area - there is a giant pirate ship, play land tunnels like at McDonalds, climbing nets - it is huge, with multiple exits, so with your little guys you will be climbing along with them, or else they might come out another side and not find you. There is also a large sandbox area below to play in (yay, shade!). There is also a water splash area here, so be prepared for them to get wet - a great way to cool off. There is a kids' roller coaster, but expect to wait in that line a long time too (30 minutes to an hour). When our kids were your kids' age, this was about all they could handle in a day - thus only three activities a day over the course of three days. If we went in the summer, we would probably return one night for the fireworks too, but not stay all day. Oh, and for hydration, I take an empty water bottle and those single serving crystal light packets, then add water from the fountains, to avoid going broke!
